Sound Familiar?

You have the water.
You just don't have the boats.

Most campgrounds and resorts sit on genuinely beautiful water — a lake, a river, a creek, a sound. The location is there. The guests want to be on it. But adding a boat rental operation means equipment costs, insurance headaches, staff training, and liability exposure that most properties don't want to take on.

So the water stays underutilized. Guests swim in it, fish from the bank, and watch it from their site. But they're not really on it — and that's a missed experience and a missed revenue opportunity.

That's the problem Mozy Outdoors solves. We bring everything — the boats, the training, the support, the operational know-how. You provide what you already have: the water and the guests.

What's holding most campgrounds back
💸Fleet purchase cost — boats are expensive to buy and maintain
⚖️Liability and insurance concerns around water activities
👷Staff training and turnover — who's running the rentals?
🔧Maintenance — motors, batteries, storage, repairs
📋Waivers, booking systems, guest communication
Not knowing if guests will actually use it
How It Works

Simple from day one.

We've built a program that removes every excuse not to offer water recreation — and replaces them with revenue.

1

Tell Us About Your Property

Fill out the inquiry form below. We review your water access, location, and guest volume to make sure the program is a good fit.

2

We Set Everything Up

We deliver the boats, provide full staff orientation, set up booking and waiver systems, and handle the operational details. Most properties are water-ready within two weeks.

3

Guests Get on the Water

Your guests book a GoBoat session. They get a quick orientation, a life vest, and a few hours on the water. No experience required — that's the whole point.

4

You Collect Your Share

50% of every rental goes to you. The boats pay for themselves — then they just keep paying. You earn on activity that was previously sitting idle.

🔋
One Simple Setup Investment — Batteries

We provide the GoBoats at no cost to you. The only startup investment is batteries — roughly $200–400 per boat. Think of it as fueling up before the first day on the water. For the right locations, we can discuss splitting this cost. After that, the program runs itself.

The Guest Experience

What your guests actually get

GoBoats are quiet, stable, and simple enough for anyone. No boating license, no experience, no motor noise. Guests love them — and talk about them.

🔇
Silent Electric

No gas motor, no exhaust, no noise. Guests drift through your waterway without disturbing the wildlife or other campers. It changes the feel of the whole experience.

🎯
Zero Experience Needed

Five-minute orientation and they're on the water. GoBoats are stable, intuitive, and impossible to tip. Grandparents, kids, first-timers — everyone can do it.

👨👩👧
Family-Friendly

Up to 450 lbs per boat, built for two adults. Calm and slow — it's not a thrill ride. It's a genuinely relaxed way to see your property from the water.

📸
Highly Shareable

Guests post about it. The unusual, boutique experience angle works in your favor on social media. Your campground gets free exposure every time someone shares their trip.

🎣
Multi-Use

Wildlife watching, fishing, exploring, floating, photographing. GoBoats work for all of it. Guests find their own use for the water — you just give them access to it.

Review Driver

Premium amenities drive premium reviews. GoBoat rentals give guests a story to tell and a reason to mention your property by name. That's what turns stays into return visits.

Run the Numbers

What could your
property earn?

You know your guest volume better than we do. Plug in your own estimates and see what GoBoat rentals could generate.

What Makes a Strong Partner Location

We're selective because our reputation depends on great guest experiences. Here's what we look for:

💧
Calm Water AccessLake, river, creek, sound, or protected coastal area. Flat water preferred for the best experience.
🚀
Safe Launch PointA dock, boat ramp, or accessible shoreline where guests can board safely.
👥
Consistent Guest VolumeThe more guests, the better the program performs. Seasonal or year-round — we work with both.
📞
A Point PersonSomeone reachable who can coordinate with guests and communicate with our team. That's it.
Common Questions

What campground owners
usually ask us

Straight answers. No sales spin.

What does my staff actually have to do?
Very little. We train a point person on your team to handle guest orientation — it's a five-minute walkthrough. Beyond that, we handle the operational support. You don't need dedicated water sports staff.
Who handles insurance and liability?
We carry our own coverage on the boats. Guest waivers are part of the booking process — we provide the language and the system. You'll want to confirm with your property insurer that a rental program is covered under your existing policy, which most are.
What if something breaks?
We handle maintenance and repairs on our equipment. GoBoats are electric and have very few moving parts — they're genuinely low-maintenance. Batteries are the main consumable, and we'll walk you through managing them properly.
How do guests book and pay?
We set up a simple booking flow that fits your operation — online, at the office, or both. Payment processing is handled through our system. Revenue is tracked and your share is paid out on an agreed schedule.
Do guests need boating experience or a license?
No. GoBoats have an electric motor well under North Carolina's 10HP boating education threshold. No license required. Guests get a five-minute orientation and they're on the water. That's the whole point — zero barrier to entry.
What kind of water do we need?
Calm is key. Lakes, rivers, creeks, sounds, and protected coastal areas all work well. GoBoats are built for fresh and saltwater. Open ocean and high-current waterways aren't a good fit — but most campground water is exactly right.
