Rent a silent electric GoBoat and take the Carolina Beach Basin at your own pace. No license. No experience. No motor noise to send the dolphins the other way.

Launch from our private dock, not a crowded marina, and go find out what's out there.

What you get

How it works

  1. Pick your time and pay. That's your boat. No callback, no waiting on us.
  2. Check your email. Exact directions and your waiver land immediately. Sign it before you leave the house.
  3. We check the weather that morning. Carolina Beach moves fast. If it's not right, we'll tell you and reschedule free.
  4. Show up and go. Quick orientation at the dock, then the basin is yours.

What to bring

Sunscreen, water, sunglasses, and a phone for photos. You'll use it. Wear something you don't mind getting a little wet. Leave the heavy cooler at home.

Good to know

  • Everyone must be able to swim. No minimum age, but kids must have a parent or guardian aboard. Must be 18+ to book and sign the waiver.
  • Life vests are required for everyone, the whole time. We provide them, or bring your own if it's Coast Guard approved.
  • 450 lb limit per boat. We'll put you on the right one for your group.
  • Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Dog life vest recommended, leashed on shore until you launch.

Weather

Every trip depends on wind and conditions. We check the morning of and text you either way. If we call it for weather, you reschedule free or take a full refund. Your call, every time. We'd rather move your trip than send you out on a bad day.

Cancellations

Free reschedule up to 24 hours before your launch. Just call or text. Inside 24 hours we'll do our best to move you but can't promise it. No-shows are non-refundable; with only two boats, an empty seat can't be resold.

Questions people ask before booking

Do I need a boating license? No. Nothing. These are electric and slow by design.

Is it hard to drive? Forward, reverse, five speeds. You'll have it figured out before you're off the dock.

Will I actually see dolphins? Often, especially June through October, but they're wild animals and they don't check the schedule. Herons, egrets, osprey and rays are near-certain year-round.

Can I fish from it? Absolutely. Bring your own gear and a NC license.

What if I'm late? Text us at (910) 216-0953. We'll do what we can, but your 2 hours start at your booked time.

Here's what most buyers ask before they pull the trigger — answered straight, no fluff.

In North Carolina, no license is required for boats under 10 horsepower. GoBoats fall well under that threshold. We always recommend checking your local waterway rules — and we're happy to walk you through it when you call.
GoBoats are inflatable pontoons with a very wide, flat base — they're extremely stable and nearly impossible to tip. They're designed for families, beginners, and calm water. You don't need any prior boating experience.
A fully charged GoBoat battery typically gives you 3–5 hours of cruising depending on load and speed. With a WattCycle battery (our recommended setup), you can get a full day of relaxed use.
Yes — GoBoats are saltwater compatible. Just rinse the motor and any metal components with fresh water after each saltwater use. We can walk you through a proper post-trip rinse routine.
Free shipping means your GoBoat (inflatable boat, motor, and accessories) ships to your door at no charge across the lower 48. Delivery is typically 5–10 business days. Rob or Dana will reach out to confirm your delivery address and timing before it goes out.
