When and where
- Launch times: 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM every day, plus an evening launch timed to put you back at the dock before dark. Open seven days a week, year round.
- Where you meet us: A private dock off Canal Drive in Carolina Beach, right on the basin — not a public ramp. We send the exact address and parking directions the moment you book.
- How far ahead: Book up to 90 days out, or same day right up to 2 hours before launch.

- A 5-minute walkthrough on the controls. If you can drive a golf cart, you're fine.

Booking for a group of 3 or 4? Book two boats — $198 total, up to 4 adults, out on the water together.
How it works
- Pick your time and pay. That's your boat. No callback, no waiting on us.
- Check your email. Exact directions and your waiver land immediately. Sign it before you leave the house.
- We check the weather that morning. Carolina Beach moves fast. If it's not right, we'll tell you and reschedule free.
- Show up and go. Quick orientation at the dock, then the basin is yours.
What to bring
Sunscreen, water, sunglasses, and a phone for photos. You'll use it. Wear something you don't mind getting a little wet. Leave the heavy cooler at home.
Good to know
- Adults should be comfortable in the water. These boats are stable, but it's open water. Must be 18+ to book and sign the waiver.
- Life vests are required for everyone, the whole time. We provide them, adult through toddler sizes — or bring your own if it's Coast Guard approved.
- 450 lb limit per boat. We'll put you on the right one for your group.
- You must be 16 or older to drive the boat. Anyone under 18 rides with a parent or another adult 18+ aboard.
- Youngest rider is 3. Kids ride in a properly fitted child vest with an adult within arm's reach.
Weather
Every trip depends on wind and conditions. We check the morning of and text you either way. If we call it for weather, you reschedule free or take a full refund. Your call, every time. We'd rather move your trip than send you out on a bad day.
Cancellations
Free reschedule up to 24 hours before your launch. Just call or text. Inside 24 hours we'll do our best to move you but can't promise it. No-shows are non-refundable; with only two boats, an empty seat can't be resold.
Questions people ask before booking
Do I need a boating license? No. Nothing. These are electric and slow by design.
Is it hard to drive? Forward, reverse, five speeds. You'll have it figured out before you're off the dock.
Will I actually see dolphins? Often, especially June through October, but they're wild animals and they don't check the schedule. Herons, egrets, osprey and rays are near-certain year-round.
Can I fish from it? Absolutely. Bring your own gear and a NC license.
